I haven't done a post on a runway show for a while, and what better place to start than with my most anticipated fashion house to see at fashion month; Moschino. This collection was showcased in Milan for Milan Fashion Week.
Jeremy's inspiration for the collection was based around road traffic signs, and took an extreme view of the hard wear trend, with models wearing hard helmets 'Moschino'd' up with a black veil, high vis outfits and traffic cones as hats. The show was really interactive, with the aim of making the guests share it on social media with their followers, to grow the Moschino fan base. Jeremy's love for branding continued throughout the show, leggings with Kellogg's and power puff girls scrap booked on them, a spandex leotard with the power puff girls printed on, and a larger than life size cleaning product bag, I love his sense of fun he brings into fashion.
Carrying on the 'clean' theme, the predominant second theme in the latter part of the show was inspired by car washes, there were models wearing two tone tasselled dresses, no arms insight, if it wasn't for the colours being different she would blended in with the prop version. Jeremy always has a sense of novelty, which is what we now expect from a Moschino show, he comes up with an idea and really gets into it and I always look forward to his shows. Thanks for reading, I'd love to hear what you guys think about the collection, feel free to leave a comment below :)
