LIPSTICK REVIEW | M.A.C FLAT OUT FABULOUS, KINDA SEXY & LUSTERING.

Hi guys, so to be honest I've never been one for obsessing over beauty products and to be honest my expertise isn't in beauty at all,  I'm not really a 'girly girl' but lately I've started to pay more attention to my make up routine and really getting into beauty products as much as my love for fashion - to start adding some beauty posts into my blog I thought I would start with my 3 favourite M.A.C. lipsticks. I've been a fan of these lipsticks since receiving my first M.A.C product on my 14th birthday, the products last such a long time. I love the amazing pigmentation in their eyeshadow collection, and the beautiful shades & textures of their lipsticks. Hope these reviews help if you're thinking of buying anyway below!

I adore this colour, it's correctly described as a bright plum matte its a beautiful striking colour and a good alternative to a red lip! Personally I find this finish the best one that stays on all day, for me anyway however the matte finish can leave your lips really dry,  exfoliate and add lip balm before to prevent lips drying out. I would say the best way to apply this product is with a brush as you achieve a more even tone without dragging the product across the lips. This is a bright colour but I would say still suits a light skin tone. M.A.C £15.50

I love this colour, I went into Mac with the intention of buying a nude lipstick suited for my skin tone, after seeing the options, they had hundreds I thought I'd get one of the Make up artists to help me out, after trying about 7, I decided this was the one! It's a vintage looking nude with peachy pink & orangey undertones. I love this shade it's great for wearing with an everyday make up look, or looks good with a smokey eye. The finish is matte and is one of my favourite finishes (so far anyway I've only owned these 3!) the more layers you build up the more texture it adds giving a more 'pouty' lip. To prep your lips for matte lips, you should exfoliate your lips first and apply lip balm before the lipstick to avoid patchy and dry lips. M.A.C £15.50

Lustre finish is a semi gloss finish, and it is by far the easiest lipstick to apply, it's so soft, glides on and easily blends. The colour is called lustering and its a lovely sheer berry pink, however you can add more layers to create a darker berry colour. This one doesn't last as long on the lips as the retro matte or matte finish, and will disappear completely after eating, however the lustre finish is M.A.Cs most hydrating lipstick so it won't dry out your lips! This a lovely shade and a versatile colour suitable for all skin tones. M.A.C £15.50
