This is going to be quite a short lived post but I have just found out something amazing! Something which has genuinely made me very happy, so here we go...
The back to M.A.C. Program is the companies recycling program, If you return six of your M.A.C. primary packaging containers to a Mac store or if you send them back online, you'll receive a free Mac lipstick of your choice! However you can't choose one from the Mac viva glam range as 100% of the profits from that programme go to Mac aids fund.
If that's not an incentive to recycle then I don't know what is!

Most primary packaging of M·A·C products is accepted as Back to M·A·C “currency.” M·A·C does not accept the following as a part of the program:
- Secondary packaging of any sort [paper box, plastic/cellophane wrapper, shopping bags, etc.]
- Samples [sample containers, special/trial size products for promotional/seasonal kits]
- Cosmetic applicators/tools [disposables, puffs, sponges, scissors, spatulas, swabs, sharpeners, tweezers, curlers]
- Accessories [bags, belts, makeup cases, lashes, Blot Film].
