so I've heard for a while that there were colouring books for adults and as someone who suffers from anxiety I thought this would be a great hobby to take up! I did some research and found loads of detailed and intricate patterns and for some reason I hesitated from buying, then I found out that there was a Vogue colouring book on its way out! amazing. So I went to Amazon to pre order!
The vogue colouring book was created by Ian r Webb, fashion editor, illustrator, and writer.
The whole book contains hand drawn artworks inspired by images from British vogue in the 1950s. I could sit for hours and colour these and I also love the idea of framing them once finished, what do you think? If they were any good of course!
The book mainly consists of glamorous ball gowns and cocktail dresses, suits and extravagant headwear, and featuring some unmistakable designers including Dior, Givenchy and Chanel.
I thought I'd show you one I've finished, well kind of, I always end up going over something if I'm flicking through, I have to say it is a good way to switch off after work and I can get a bit carried away it does make you relax, and I'm not ashamed to say at the age of 21, I quite enjoy colouring in ha ha!
