WINTER WARMERS WISH LIST

So it’s that time of year again... I personally don’t like winter; I like the idea of it, wrapping up in warm coats, looking all glowy and rosy cheeked, but in reality I’m as pale as anything, red nosed instead of cheeked and constantly freezing; Combining fashion with the English winter weather is undoubtedly a hard task!

This is why I decided to really think about my wardrobe this winter, invest in some key pieces that I love and will see me through the colder months AND look stylish. With Christmas coming around, this is a perfect time to add some of these on your Christmas list!

First of all, a Fur scarf is always essential in winter, it can really dress your outfit up, I always tend to go for a brown tone because a camel coat is my staple in winter and I love how they look together; however I am loving grey at the moment and thought it would be a nice change and lighten it up a bit! I found this faux fur scarf from Powder, an online gem I discovered recently! its priced at only £35 and they also have other gorgeous colours including Champagne, Aubergine, Blush Pink, Mink & Slate.

Missguided have designed my perfect winter coat! A neutral coat is essential and I think camel looks so elegant and goes with absolutely everything, this one is £70, it has double breasted buttons, side pockets and a blazer like style, it's perfection.

I brought one of these a while ago and it got me through last winter to be honest! if you're anything like me and hate the cold, especially when it gets to you're ears and gives you a headache! I would definitely suggest one of these faux fur headbands, they look so cute and also if you're not a hat person (like me) then this does the job! this one is £22 from Powder, I have the Champagne colour on my list however it also comes in, Aubergine, Blush Pink, Mink & Slate.

Black Ribbed Lace Up Front Long Sleeve Dress | New Look

I love a dress with a pair of chunky tights in Winter, such an effortless outfit, which is definitely what I want in the cold dark mornings! This one from New Look is only £22.99, I love the lace up front, it would look perfect with knee high boots and a camel coat and would look great in the evening with heels.

I LOVE knee high boots this season I think they're definitely worth investing in, you can prolong the life of your summer dresses by pairing them with tights and these boots. Or these will look great with jeans & leggings, too. I'm only 5'4 so its hard finding the perfect pair of long boots, as some look like they're covering most of my leg! (which is not a good look) these ones are from Faith, they give a bit of height, with a block heel, also the length is perfect as it comes just under the knee and at £59 I think they're a really good price!

I think everyone needs at least two coats in their wardrobe come winter; the neutral, and the statement. This is my dream statement coat for this winter, I love the candy pink colour and the 60's style of this ASOS coat. I Cannot wait to get this coat, I can't wait to pair it with Powder Accessories including the Tallulah gloves in Pink I've featured below and the faux fur scarf in slate, I love pink and grey together and in Winter it will make a nice change, I love seeing colour in winter!

every year I say "hmm, I don't need gloves", and every year I get reminded that, yes I really do! I cant wait to wear these gloves with the ASOS coat feautured above, I think these are so cute and would really finish the outfit off. These fur gloves are only £20 and also come in Aubergine, Lime, Magenta, Mustard, Tangerine & Teal.
