I am so excited about this! Not only is Charlotte Olympia one of my style icons, but she is undoubtedly one of my favourite designers, I'm inspired by designers who bring fun and quirkiness and that's what she is. I love her connection with art history like her Abstract Kitty's- inspired by Kandinsky.
I always love it when designers collab with high street brands not only is it affordable for us (yay!); but it also shows that the designer really wants to share their creations with a larger audience, whether its Jeremy Scott collaborating with H&M (which will hit shelves in 2 months!) or Lulu Guinness with her Red nose day bags for Sainsbury's, they all show that they are connecting with their buyers and admirers.
London Footwear and Accessories designer Charlotte Olympia is sharing her wonderful eye of design with Brazilian label, Havaianas. This collaboration will be shown during Milan Fashion Week in October 15, and will be in the hands of retailers in February.
I don't know about you, but I can't wait! The collection is undoubtedly Charlotte Olympia, her trade mark styles are everywhere throughout the collection. There will be 3 flip-flop designs and 3 beach towels, each with a different 50's style pin-up girl. 'The Kitty' is a black flip flop with her kitty design in gold. 'Charlotte's Web' is a blush pink flip flop with Gold Spider web details, finally the 'Bruce' is red, with the famous leopard mascot.
And this isn't such a surprise collaboration Charlotte Dellal the Designer, Creative Director/CEO of Charlotte Olympia said "I’m half Brazilian, so Havaianas have always been a staple when on holiday around the world and on the beach in Rio, my home away from home."

Come February you can find these in Havaianas and Charlotte Olympia stores, online, or at select retailers, and with prices ranging from $55 to $115, if you can't make up your mind (like me
!!) then its justifiable to buy them all! I'd love to know what you think about this collection, are you excited? Are you joining me on grabbing them all??
